Open Hand Republic | Cultural Jamming and more | 25 January , 5-7 pm

Dear Friends of Chandigarh ,

Warm wishes. The sun is shining today with an all new shine and glory. The much awaited day is near. Tomorrow afternoon , most of us will be catching up at Open Hand Monument , in Sector -1

The Program is as under :

1. 'Kites of Freedom' - 4 :15 - 5:15 pm
2. Brief intro to the Concept of Open Hand Monument and the 'Contemplation pit' 5:15-5:30
3. Idea Exchange and discussion forum centered around 'your' plans for the city. (5:30-6 :15pm )
4. Break 6:15 -6:30
5. Experimental photography - Painting with light and Light animation.6:30 Onwards .

Request to the participants

1. As on date people are not allowed to take vehicles to the open space near the Open Hand, so you are requested to park the vehicles on the footpath ,just beyond the Bridge with a Punjab and Haryana High Court board on it.
2. The security might ask you where are you going. You can pleasantly reply "We are going to Open Hand Monument' . Its a Public place and no one needs any special permissions to go there.
3. If you have some 'battery-Torches' /searchlights etc ... plz do bring along , they will help in Photography experiments.
4. You are free to bring your own kites, though we have a set of 10 tri-colour kites for you. But availability depends on the number of people participating.
5. In case of any doubts or problem , the helpline remains 9888 340 250 , my number.
6. Bring in your friends and family . Bring your cameras. We need to reach out to Citizens with the actual message of 'Open Hand'
